Avery and Nolan are good buddies/cousins and Nicki and I thought it'd be smart to go together and throw them an awesome joint b-day bash. Since Nolan is my only summer/fall birthday, I like to make a fun big backyard theme, and Avery is a Thanksgiving baby, we thought this was a perfect way to get the family together only one time, and pool our money and ideas and do something really fun.. I think it turned out pretty darn good, and all that no rain dancing paid off too!! (thank god!!) Thanks for Everyone who came and for the great gifts!!!!

I've never seen a bigger (or embarrassing) fit than the one this kid threw over this hat having straps inside!! my poor bestie Dana so sweetly bought him the hat and he was all excited, and went to put it on and FLIPPED out because of the straps and threw it and screamed, thankfully Pappy Stone came in to the rescue and cut those straps out and he was happy as a clam and wore it the rest of the party.. here he is enjoying the hat and new Elmo Spin chair

One sneaky thing I did at the party, gave him a sno-cone, and oops forgot the sugar filled topping, so he enjoyed a cup of crushed ice, and had no clue what he was missing!! I think his sucker intake made up for it! :)
