Snacks, Movies, Fair Rides- OH MY!

we've been living in a rental house for a few months, and will be 'til the end of the year so we are trying our best to make the most of it, trying to enjoy our summer the most we can and most of all keep these wild wild boys busy!!  my goodness 3 boys is a challenge, always hungry, always messy and always want to fight/wrestle and climb and jump off anything they can find...there is never a dull moment where these Mossman's are :) 







 



Snacks...  boy do we love snacks in our house, icecream is always a hit!   this first pic is Griff's first fudge bar, oh my.. mess!  but he loved every minute of it!

MOVIES, we are so into 3D lately..lots of cool movies out this summer!!   we have so much fun going to movies, i'll be happy when mr. Griff can come along, he hates being left behind!

Long awaited trip to see... you guessed it... DESPICABLE ME 2!  they LOVED IT!  we all loved it, it was really funny and to hear Nolan belly laughing almost the entire movie was just so sweet!  Bryson doesn't like to share his candy, i can't blame him, but i blame him.. he doens't need all that, and that stuff is expensive... i've tried bringing in candy, but they bust me out and throw big ol fits at the counter, so i'm ready for them to be old enough to keep good  secrets, secrets that save me money! lol.

2013 Morgan County FAIR

 

Oh the dreaded fair, the only thing that usually gets me thru is some taffy and a strawberry lemonade shake-up, none of which i had this year..   why on earth does our fair not have taffy anymore, such a travesty!  AH!  i did for the first time enjoy a jumbo corn dog.. def don't want another one for awhile, but with some beer to wash it down, i will admit, it was rather tasty-- on to the fun stuff..rides:

 

they were both old enough to go up the slide and come down on their own.. such a milestone, really cool to see them be so independent! they loved it

he thinks he is big stuff, which he kinda is now.. (not really, but big for a 3 yr old!)

about 3 minutes in.. nolan looks to bryson and i hear him say.. i'm done with this ride..and i couldn't help but laugh.. cause i hate rides like that one, and it seemed to last forever. 

spinning the apple.. a kid not to much before us lost his cookies on his way off this ride..  nolan made it about 3 minutes and we had to have the guy stop the ride.. luckily no one else was riding it.. he didn't like it, probably because bryson wouldn't stop spinning it.. boys.. lol

Bryson's favorite.. GAMES.. we only let them play one each.. nolan lost interest very fast but Bryson begged to play more, but we stood firm to one game each. :)

Here is the prize they choose, swords with cases, they LOVED them, and have been fighting non-stop and have taught their little brother how to do it too, which is adorable and funny as much as it is annoying and dangerous for anyone around them.    bryson gets his taken away alot, and he's only had it 2 days :)

okay.. check out this cute pic stitch I did..  we always visit the animals and the bunnies are always a hit..  the top is of bryson when he was about 2.5..and the bottom is this year at 5.5.. crazy how much they change and how quickly time goes!!  love this boy!

our favorite summer vegtable.. ...when i say 'our'.. i mean Griff, mommy and Daddy.. the other boys would rather die before biting off a poisionous kernal of sweet corn into their sugar addicted mouths.. stinkers. at least one of my kids will try about anything on his plate and last night he was  going to town on this sweet corn i broke a big one in half and he went back and forth between the two and loved it! 

so.. anyway.. sorry for a million posts today, but i had to get caught up on cleaning off my Iphone pics and updated 2013!  I'll be back soon!
