Random stuff from the last week

It was hot, reallly hot yesterday, so i decided they boys deserved some DQ.. and Griff is a begger, and beggers know who the 'suckers are that will feed them..
Nolan is laughing, mommy.. im feeding him,  he says.." I'm just like a mommy" followed by his super cute chuckle. this kid, u can't help but love him. he saw jeff got me a big blizzard he says, when i'm a daddy, i get to get a big one, like an x-large, I'll be able to touch the ceiling when I'm a daddy.  I want to be a daddy"   lol.    he's pretty obsessed with asking about mommy's and daddy's..and the parts lately, he always asks me about the parts and how babies are in bellies, it's an interesting topic, i know.   yesterday we are watching a movie he says, "are you a girl mom?" i say yep, all mommy's are girls, he says " so do you have a penis?"  I say no, he asks why not, i say because girls have boobies to feed their babyies and boys have penis's", " so why do boys have penis's he asks?  i say, just because, god made them like that, they make babies, that's all.  then he says "my daddy's a boy, he has a penis, it's a big one. "  I say, that's good, i'm sure he'll be glad you think that, now let's just watch our movie!!  AHH!!

this is a cute onery face just before chaos begins, he loves the boys beds--jumping wrestling, fighting, not much good comes from this time of night, just look at the floor, movies and toys everywhere.

this was the fun for last night, bryson would hide them, notice his socks hanging out,  and they would peek out and try to 'scare 'me, it was quite cute, and it had no fighting or jumping involved so I encouraged it for as long as I could.

**Please Note: the pictures you are about to see are at the insistence of the 3 year old pictured, his mother and father, strongly DIScouraged the wardrobe and made every effort to change his mind, that doesn't happen with a red-headed middle child often.  He made this choice, and was very happy with it.
he very strongly insisted that he had to wear a sweatshirt today, on probably the top 3 hottest days of the summer yet. i didn't have it in me to fight this, i tried my normal psychology tactics, he had a strong defense up today and it was his way or the highway, i conceded quickly, some battles are NOT worth entereing.  (Nolan: 1, Mommy: 0.)  fail :(

My one positive this morning, Bryson FINALLY decided he would try out a sleeveless shirt today!  Thank goodness because i bought him several this year, and he had a few from last year, but he made a huge deal out of hating them up until today, i was SO happy, and i think after he realizes today just how nice the air in your armpits is, he will become the believe that I am in sleeveless shirts.  Win Win for both of us.. :)

2 words: ANIMAL LOVER.  This kid loves animals.  PERIOD.  Case and point-  look at this ginormous fat cat (strat), we went to a friends house last week, this was the neighbor girls cat and he  followed this thing around all night, he couldn't really lift it great, but Strat was happy to lay back and be scratched most of the time, he did get spooked a few times and sorta ran under a car, nolan patiently waited on him near the car and got more pets in when he could. It was rather comical honestly.   It's so cute to see his love for animals, but now it means i know i really need to consider getting him one, Some day.  Not today, not this year, I say maybe when he can clean the 'protein spills & AFR's' (disney terms: protein spill=pee, AFR=accidental fecal release), i have to many people to clean up after right now.  like i said, some day.

R. U. Ready for Cute??
BAM!  That's cute, this is my desperate attempt of handing him anything and everything on our 3.5 hr car trip home to see my dad and step mom...  this was so cute it almost made up for his horrid crying and tantrum toy throws for half the trip!  ahh!  almost, but definitely not, he is not a fun road tripper :(    (Griffin: 1, Mommy: 0)
