School DAYz...

Wow, how is this even possible, my first born is now in kindergarten.  Boy is he excited about it!  He scored the little red school house with Mrs.Chumley for his teacher, it was so fun to take him in for orientation and see his wheels in his head turning and soaking it all in

 He didn't seem to thrilled about the 'uniform' his school required, but he got over it, and it does make the morning easier, no fighting over outfits because he knows the rules!    Speaking as a completely unbiased mom, he looks pretty dang cute :)

this was obviously months ago, he's doing a great job in school.. he LOVES art (he is so good at it!), and math and is soaking it all up, he's making a lot of friends, he loves staying on green and earning coins for prizes, he is starting to admit girls are okay, some days...he some days tells me a lot about the day and many days I have to ask and ask...he doesn't love doing homework but he's a smart cookie and it usually isn't real time consuming 'work'.

Speaking of school... look who started PRE-K!!??  He got a new buzz cut to start the year off, it was a bit of a shock at first, i used a smaller guard than i thought, but he loved it, and looked so super cute, he kept asking to look in the mirror and said " I look like Ethan Kruzan'  ethan is a good buddy from school, it made me laugh so hard.  He is such a funny kid.  A couple of the girls at school didn't recognize him, it was funny!
